Join the festive fun with our Christmas Trail, brought to life with the magic of augmented reality!
Embark on an exciting adventure trail this Christmas as you search for festive characters at the various locations pinned on the map and listed below. At these locations, find colourful decals on the ground featuring Christmas images of Santa, Elves or Snowmen.
Download the free Creativitek app from the App store or Google Play.
To experience the augmented reality, open the Creativitek app and hold it over the image on the sticker to be instantly transported into another world. Watch as the 3D animations burst into life and snap photos as special keepsakes! Don't forget to share your photos using the hashtag #ChristmasOnRedlandsCoast

Visit the new Redlands Coast Visitor Information Centre at 50 Middle Street, Cleveland! Stop by to meet the team, grab a copy of our Christmas program, and even make a special call to Santa from our Santa phone booth.
Step into our festive phone booth that connects you straight to Santa. Pick up the phone, and Santa's warm voice will fill you with holiday cheer! Leave him a message with your wishes, dreams, and even brag a little about all the good deeds you've done this year. You can even get a copy of your message sent to your phone as a special memento.
Christmas Lighting Displays
From Friday 22 November
Get into the Christmas spirit by visiting our festive locations, showcasing stunning Christmas light displays! These magical spots are lit up nightly, perfect for families to enjoy or snap a festive family photo.
Be sure to also check out the spectacular free Christmas light and Bubble Show at RPAC. Starting 30 November on selected evenings, families can enjoy a fun-filled bubble pop-up theatre experience featuring fantastic bubble sculptures, outrageous antics, and a heartwarming story. Then, step outside to the Events Hall green for a rocking light show with bubbles, mirror balls, and a lively soundtrack!
Council Christmas Programs and Activities
That’s not all, we’ve got your Christmas holidays covered with activities galore!
Redland Performing Arts Centre in addition to the Christmas Light and Bubble Show, and drop-in family theatre, there is a fabulous selection of ticketed shows. Enjoy the songs from Love Actually live on stage in Christmas Actually, tenor JD Smith’s Christmas Celebration, Brisbane Excelsior’s Big Brassy Christmas, or the soap-tastic family show, the Bubble Show for Christmas.
Redland City Council Libraries have plenty of crafty workshops including make your own Frosty wool gnomes, Christmas button art, Christmas gift cards and felt stockings, not to mention the Summer Reading Challenge and Story time with Mrs Claus.
Redland Art Gallery will host a masterclass workshop where you can discover the painterly magic of soft pastel inspired by local landscapes with Redlands artist, Millie Simic.
Redlands IndigiScapes Centre is full of information, displays and hands-on learning opportunities, with interactive environmental education activities to spark your curiosity about the natural world. It’s also the perfect place to pick up your sustainable Christmas gifts.
