Councillor Briefing Sessions and Workshops are informal meetings for Councillors to be briefed about complex matters to ensure informed decisions can be made when the matter proceeds to a General Meeting for a decision. Minutes are not taken.

At the 20 August 2025 General Meeting Council adopted amendments to the GOV-01 7-002 -G Councillor Briefing Sessions and Workshops (Non-Statutory Meetings) – Priority Guideline(PDF, 191KB) for agenda and attendance records to be published on Council's website. Records are published from 20 August 2025 onwards only.
