Pursuant to section 140 of the Regulation, Council has, by resolution dated 15 April 2026, decided to sell land for overdue rates or charges.
Section 239 of the Local Government Act 2009 (Qld) (LGA) allows a local government to serve a document on a person who owns or occupies a property by publishing a notice that contains a copy of the document on the local government's website, where the local government does not know, or is uncertain about, the person's current address.
Pursuant to section 140 of the Regulation and section 239 of the LGA, Council hereby gives notice that Council intends to start procedures for selling the land listed in the Schedule below unless all overdue rates or charges, and interest accrued, are paid in full within 3 months of this notice.
