Redlands Coast Lighting of the Christmas Tree
Redland City Council's much loved Redlands Coast Lighting of the Christmas Tree will return over two magical nights in 2026, officially launching the Christmas on Redlands Coast festive season.
The free community celebration will be held on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November, bringing the spirit of Christmas to life with joyful carols, sparkling lighting displays, roving performers, food trucks, and the spectacular lighting of the city’s Christmas tree.
Families can also capture the magic with a free photo with Santa, making it a must‑attend event to celebrate the season together.

Performer Expressions of Interest Open: Redlands Coast Lighting of the Christmas Tree
Do you sing, dance, perform or lead a local community group? Redland City Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from talented local performers to be part of the Redlands Coast Lighting of the Christmas Tree Stage Show in 2026.
This much-loved free community event will be held over two nights, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November 2026, at Raby Bay Harbour Park, Cleveland, bringing the community together to celebrate the festive season.
Council is proud to once again partner with Mirusia Productions, which has been appointed as the Stage Producer for the 2026 event. Together, we are committed to showcasing the incredible talent that exists across Redlands Coast.
We are seeking EOIs from local artists, choirs, ensembles, dancers, youth groups and performers who would like the opportunity to perform as part of the live Christmas stage program.
Applications close Friday 18 September 2026 at 5.00pm.
