Flood Cameras

To further enhance preparedness and response for disaster events, Redland City Council has installed a network of flood cameras around the city.

Council uses flood camera footage to provide an accurate picture of the flood status at various locations.

Any flooded road can be deadly, and the condition of the road surface underneath is not known until flood waters subside. It also doesn't matter what size your vehicle is, flood waters are dangerous for all vehicles. When considering your journey, always have a Plan B and equip yourself with multiple alternative routes to stay safe.

As soon as you enter flood water, you are giving up control of your vehicle - if it's flooded, forget it!

Roads or bridges that have been flooded, must have a safety inspection before being used. Do not remove road closed signage.

To keep up-to-date with the latest road closures and road condition information, visit Redlands Coast Disaster Dashboard, where you can also sign up to Redlands Coast Alerts to receive flooded road notifications.

Images typically update every 15 minutes, however, frequency may be affected by telecommunications or other issues. Refresh this page to view updated images.
