Make your trip quicker and easier by arranging the recycling and waste in your vehicle according to disposal points.
The station has a bypass lane for anyone carrying residential green waste (open during peak times).

Due to upcoming maintenance work at the Macleay Island barge terminal and consequential restricted barge times, Council Waste contractors will be required to visit the island’s Recycling and Waste Centre earlier than usual.
- This will occur from Monday 23 September to 18 October on intermittent days
- Council operations will commence from 6.15am
- Residents may experience a slight increase in the volume of noise coming from the site during this earlier time.
All other options to visit the site outside these times have been explored and we thank local residents for their patience and understanding.
