Boat launching permits are available to applicants who are commercial fishermen, permanent residents or property owners only of North Stradbroke Island, for the sole purpose of launching and retrieving boats from Home Beach at Point Lookout for recreational or commercial purposes.
Only commercial fisherman, permanent residents or a property owner of a North Stradbroke Island property are eligible to apply. Applications are assessed on eligibilty.
A fee of $45 applies for commercial permits. There is no fee for recreational permits.
All permits are valid for the calendar year of issue and expire on 31 December.
