Christmas is coming to Redlands Coast, bringing plenty of holiday cheer for everyone. From spectacular lighting displays and creative activities to family-friendly experiences, we’re preparing a trail of activities to make your Christmas special.
Council Christmas programs and activities
Get ready for a festive season full of fun and creativity across Redland City Council locations! From our libraries, Redland Performing Arts Centre and Redland Art Gallery to the Redlands IndigiScapes Centre, there will be plenty of exciting activities and experiences to enjoy this Christmas. Whether you love crafty workshops, inspiring art, or exploring the natural world, there’s something for everyone to look forward to. See the Redland City Council what’s on calendar.

Redland City Council is proud to again be supporting community events, including:
- Wellington Point Village Christmas Festival, on Saturday 28 November and
- Christmas in the Park at Mount Cotton Community Park, on Sunday 29 November

Christmas Hub featuring Santa's hotline
Visit the Redlands Coast Visitor Information Centre at 50 Middle Street, Cleveland From Friday 27 November 2026 till New Years stop by to meet the team, grab a copy of our Christmas program, and even make a special call to Santa from our Santa phone booth.
Step into our festive phone booth that connects you straight to Santa. Pick up the phone, and Santa's warm voice will fill you with holiday cheer! Leave him a message with your wishes, dreams, and even brag a little about all the good deeds you've done this year.
Complete a festive colouring in to be displayed on the window at the Redlands Coast Visitor Information Centre for the festive season.
Christmas lighting displays
Get into the Christmas spirit by visiting our festive locations, showcasing stunning Christmas light displays. These magical spots are lit up nightly, perfect for families to enjoy or snap a festive family photo.
From 27 November until the New Year from 5.30pm to 10pm each evening:
- Raby Bay Harbour Park (Redlands Coast Christmas Tree, Icicles and Tree Lights)
- Wellington Point Village Green (Giant 3D Christmas Bauble)
- Cleveland Point (Lights by the Sea)
- Capalaba Youth Plaza (Giant 3D Christmas Star)
- Victoria Point Library Square (Giant 3D Christmas Tree)
