Event community awareness

Consider if and how your event will affect the surrounding neighbourhood. For example, will there be loud noise from music and audio systems, fireworks or any car parking on residential streets?

It is important to notify the community in advance of your event and give them a person to contact if they have any queries.

  • Deliver a Community Event Notice to local residents and businesses surrounding the event site.
  • Use event signs to promote your event and raise community awareness.
  • Inform, and consult with as necessary, the local Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and Queensland Ambulance Service
