Redlands Coast Youth – support and activities
Redlands Coast Young Citizen’s Program
The Redlands Coast Young Citizen’s Program seeks to empower students through partnerships with secondary schools, fostering civic participation and engagement on local issues that impact their lives. Young people can play an integral part in shaping the community by attending a series of free workshops facilitated by Redland City Council.
The Civics and Citizenship of the Humanities and Social Sciences learning area (QCAA) has been designed for students in years 7-10. Year 10 students have been identified as the appropriate age for these workshops due to the potential pathways that students may elect in years 11 and 12.
If your school is interested in participating, please complete this quick survey on proposed options for 2026 Redlands Coast Young Citizen's Program 2026.
