Wendy Boglary (Kendall) was raised in the country town of Beaudesert with parents who were heavily involved in church and community activities and it is these values and strong community ethics which drove her passion to run for Council in 2008.
Wendy is a proud mother of three boys who were raised in the division she now represents and she was heavily involved in all school and sporting activities. Wendy now enjoys a high level of commitment to our City’s youth through these avenues.
After an initial career path in banking which was followed by two decades of small business success in Redlands, including the Ormiston Foodstore, Wendy brought to council a commitment to local opportunities for business and employment.
Also a strong advocate for our unique Redlands environment and the sustainability of our Redlands character through wise planning, Wendy is committed to Redlands with a focus on strengthening our community for a sustainable future while building and protecting our local economy, environment and lifestyle.
Having held various appointments including Deputy Mayor, Wendy is honoured to be a Redland City community representative and be returned for her fourth term with an even heightened energy, sense of passion and protectiveness to promote Redlands and ensure our values are maintained.
