Redlands Coast Age-friendly Action Plan

Redland City Council is committed to supporting our residents to age well. The Redlands Coast Age-friendly Action Plan 2021-2026 is a five-year action plan based on the World Health Organisation's Age-friendly cities model. This plan provides a way forward for Council, the community and the Government to work together to ensure that ageing on Redlands Coast is a positive experience, and people of all ages are valued and can live active fulfilling lives.

Redlands Coast Seniors Month

Redland Coast Seniors Month funding aligns with the Queensland Seniors Month 2025 theme of ‘Love Getting Older in Queensland’ and promotes positive community attitudes towards older people and ageing, provides opportunities for community participation to enhance community connections and celebrates older Queenslanders and their ongoing contributions – whether as volunteers or in the workforce, community leaders or carers, grandparents or advocates. Seniors month runs for the month of October.  What's On calendar | Redland City Council
