Alexandra Hills - PDG-43658-1 - Park Upgrade - Valantine Park Alexandra Hills
Redland City Council contractors are completing the Park Upgrade at Valantine Park Alexandra Hills. The final stage is underway with the supply and installation of a playground in the north west area of the park including a seat, sandstone block retaining wall and landscaping. Works will be completed by 17/04/2020 (weather permitting).

Redland City Council contractors will be removing the bus shelter on Cumberland Drive, Alexandra Hills which is located westbound between Sherington Street and Brompton Street and installing a minimum boarding point and undertaking associated works. Birkdale - PDG-30448-5 & 44830-6 - 19/20FY Aquatic Paradise Maintenance Dredging (SP5) and Trench Capital Dredging (SP6)
Redland City Council Contractor's will be undertaking dredging in the entrance channel, lower reaches of the Wood Canal, the full extent of the Woodgate Canal and the Woodgate Canal extension and Laidlaw Canal. The movement of private vessels will be coordinated with the assistance of the Aquatic Paradise Ratepayers Association and PDG officers. Birkdale - PDG-80311 - Bus Shelter & Seat Installation - Birkdale Road, Birkdale
Redland City Council contractors will be upgrading the bus shelter on Birkdale Road, Birkdale which is located westbound between Macgregor Dr and Estelle St by removing existing shelter, installation of new bus shelter, seat, electrical and undertaking associated works. Expected start date - 10/02/2020 Expected finished date - 21/02/2020 (weather permitting)
Capalaba - PDG-43659-1 - Park Upgrade - Wentworth Drive Park, Capalaba
Redland City Council contractors will be completing upgrade works at Wentworth Drive Park, Capalaba. The scope of the works will include the installation of an amenities block, installation of shade sails over the existing playground, replacing existing fitness equipment, installing sporting equipment, upgrading the existing cricket pitch, installing furniture items throughout the park, and auxiliary landscape works. New furniture items will include a shelter, BBQ and seating. The bollards around the perimeter of the park will also be replaced. Works are expected to commence 28/01/2020 (weather permitting), with completion expected by 20/04/2020 (weather permitting).

Redland Bay - PDG-64092 - Sewerage Pump Station 92-7 Donald Road, Redland Bay
Redland City Council's Internal Construction Crews and Contractors will be constructing a replacement sewer main along a section of School of Arts Road, between Denham Boulevard to approximately 60 meters past the Bedarra/Cypress Streets Roundabout, Redland Bay. The project will involve the supply and installation of a DN300 sewer rising main, a small section of gravity sewer main, manholes and associated works. These works will involve both open cut trenching and boring construction. As the new main will be installed within exisitng road traffic detours will be in place while works are being constructed. Traffic detours will be removed at nigth time and on weekends.

Redland City Council Internal Construction Crews and Contractors will be upgrading various streets on Russell Island. These works will involve the installation of gravel pavement and two coat bitumen seal. The following streets are to be sealed: 43526 – Highland Ridge Road (from Barcelona Terrace to Seaward Drive) 43527 – Island View Road (from Rampart Drive to Seaward Drive) 43528 – Rampart Drive (from Highland Ridge Road to Wahine Drive) 43529 – Scenic Drive (from Barcelona Terrace to Highland Ridge Road) 43530 – Seaward Drive (from Highland Ridge Road to Wahine Drive) 43531 – Beacon Drive (from Little Cove Road to Beaumont Drive) 43532 – Beaumont Drive (from Canaipa Ridge Road to Beaumont Drive) 43534 – Delmar Parade (from Canaipa Ridge Road to #8 Delmar Parade) 43537 – Rampart Drive (from Cowderoy Drive to Cutter Drive) Please be aware the abovementioned streets DO NOT indicate the order in which the streets will be sealed.

Redland City Council contractors will be completing Stage 2A works at Thornlands Community Park. The scope includes a large number of playground equipment and furniture items. Some key inclusions are inclusive play, sand play, table settings, BBQs and seating. Works will commence 18/11/2019 (weather permitting) with completion by approximately 12/06/2020 (weather permitting).

Victoria Point - PDG-41190 - Albert Street, Victorua Point - Culvert Upgrade
Redland City Council's Internal Construction Crews and Contractors will be upgrading the culverts in the Albert Street, Victoria Point. Thes works wil involve: Removal of exisitng culverts; Installations of new culverts structures; Installation of guardrail; Upgrades to the street lighting; Replacement of a small section of pathway and kerb and channeling; All assocated works. Detours will be in place for a period of approximately 5 weeks (weather permitting), for constuction of the new culvets.
Victoria Point - PDG-42648 - Road Rehabilitation-Precinct 10 Victoria Point (Benfer Road)
Redland City Council contractors will be undertaking road resurfacing and associated works within Benfer Road – Strachan Road to Link Road, Victoria Point. Victoria Point - PDG-43715-1 - Moreton Bay Cycleway Stage 2, Victoria Point
Redland City Council contractors will be completing construction activities for Council’s Moreton Bay Cycleway (MBC) Stage 2 project. Stage 2 will see the installation of concrete pathways, timber boardwalks and line marking from School Road to Point O’Halloran Road, Victoria Point. Works will commence 03/02/2020 with completion by 01/06/2020 (weather permitting).
Wellington Point - PDG-43634-1 - Park Upgrade – Apex Park Wellington Point
Redland City Council contractors will be completing renewal works at Apex Park. Project works will include installation of new playground equipment including shade sails, installation of park furniture items and landscaping.
