What is Council's Plumbing Services responsible for?
• Assessment of plumbing and drainage applications
• Issuing of relevant plumbing and drainage permits
• Performing onsite inspections of plumbing and drainage works
• Issuing of Final Certificate
• Ensuring all new private plumbing and drainage works within Redlands Coast comply with Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018, Plumbing and Drainage Regulation 2019, National Construction Code, Queensland Plumbing and Waste Water Code and Australian Standards associated with plumbing and drainage.
Plumbing Services are not responsible for the management of water meters or Council infrastructure – those enquires should be directed to water supply and sewerage.
