Redland City Council has formally agreed to commence development of a new City Plan to guide land use, growth, and development across the city. The decision follows a statutory review of the current 2018 city plan, which identified opportunities for improved alignment with Queensland Government strategies, such as ShapingSEQ and the Redlands Housing Strategy. The new plan will support housing, business, and service needs while improving liveability, integrating flood mapping and key local strategies. Consultation with the community and stakeholders will ensure the plan reflects the city’s anticipated future needs and priorities over the next 25 years.
