Redland City Mayoral Prayer Breakfast 2023
The twenty-first annual Redland City Mayoral Prayer Breakfast will be held on Friday 8 September from 7am at the Alexandra Hills Hotel and Conference Centre.
The breakfast is a special annual event that brings together the community to raise vital funds for chaplaincy programs for Redlands Coast’s state schools which benefit close to 15,000 local students each year.
Chaplaincy programs provide important social and emotional support for Redlands Coast students, staff and families through mentoring, role modelling and pastoral care that enhance wellbeing and educational outcomes.
This year’s Guest Speaker is Jason Fiddes, who owns a life coaching business specialising in wellbeing. Jason is a former troubled teenager who dealt with long-term unemployment and a substance use disorder before deciding to follow Jesus and turning his life around. He has previously worked as a player welfare coordinator at the Brisbane Broncos and New Zealand Warriors.
