Canoe and kayak launch points

Come and see Redlands Coast beautiful coastline by water. The diversity of easy water access points allows you to visit its beautiful and diverse coastal scenery and bay islands by canoe or kayak.

There are many launch points for small water craft located at various locations in public parkland across the city and islands. Most of the launch points are informal, and all are easy to access and open for use. Part of a future project involves providing place-finding bollards and seats.

Tide times and launch points

Please check tide times before accessing a launch point. These sites are best accessed for an hour each side of high tide but some sites are accessible at other times if you need to.

See the overview map below or download the full list of canoe and kayak launch points [PDF, 7.67MB] for address and tidal details.
