Weinam Creek at Redland Bay is a regional gateway to the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, including Macleay, Lamb, Karragarra and Russell Islands.
Currently, there are two options for parking your car at Weinam Creek:
- allocated secure parking.
- public unpaid parking
Allocated secure parking
The Weinam Creek Commuter Facility is available only to residents and employees on the Southern Moreton Bay Islands. The facility is located off Banana Street in Redland Bay, and offers a marina and two secure car compounds with 475 car parks.
Note: Currently there is a 5 year waiting list for an allocated parking space.
However, if you meet the eligibility criteria and do wish to add your name to the waiting list, submit this online form.
Once you do receive a car space (or marina mooring), you may need to submit various forms.
Public unpaid parking
Public unpaid parking is located in and around the:
- Weinam Creek ferry terminal
- Meissner Street car park
- barge terminal.

Future parking plans
Since being declared a Priority Development Area (PDA) in 2013, the Walker Group has been established as the preferred developer to produce a master plan for the area. This will include upgrades to the marina facilities and car parking options availability.
More details on this will become available as the master plan is developed.
