Syringes and needles should be disposed of safely and carefully. Residents have three disposal options, all of which are free of charge:
- Recycling and Waste Centres – the following locations will accept sealed containers (up to 2 litres) with syringes and needles (please provide proof of residency):
- Your domestic general waste bin – syringes and needles must be contained in a sealed, puncture proof tin or container.
- Wall-mounted containers at various locations – visit sharps disposal locations.
