Redlands Coast Healthy and Active Program (RCHAP)

The Redlands Coast Healthy & Active Program (RCHAP) is a low cost physical activity program managed by Redland City Council. The program aims to build healthier, happier and more vibrant communities by encouraging all Redlanders to move more, value their health and be active for life.

RCHAP will return again for Term 2, 2019 on Tuesday 23 April until Saturday 29 June. Activities are held at various parks, public open space areas, and fitness facilities across each Council division. The programs will be delivered at the same time, in the same place each week for 10 weeks to align with the school term. 

Activities

Each class is $5 to attend or you can purchase a 10 session pass in the first week for $45 (buy nine sessions and get one free). The 10 session passes are valid for one activity type and are subject to availability (some classes may be impacted by public holidays). 10 session passes can be purchased through your instructor on week 1.

Aqua Aerobics

Suitable for beginner or advanced participants. Aqua is a low impact class designed to increase movement, flexibility and joint mobility

Redland City Council now has our own Smartphone App on Team App for the Redlands Coast Healthy & Active Program. It will show you activities near you, allow you to join groups or waiting lists and RSVP for each of the activities. It also sends you a reminder before the activity commences.

To get the full features you need to download Team App onto your smartphone.

After you launch Team App:

  1. Sign up to Team App. You'll be sent an email to confirm your registration.
  2. Once logged in, enter the activity you're looking for in the search bar for followed by RCHAP eg. Cardio Tennis RCHAP.
  3. Click on the activity when it appears. 
  4. You then need to become a member of the program. If using a mobile devise you should be prompted at the the top of your screen, if using a laptop or computer click on the ‘my membership’ icon on the top left, under the activity name. 
  5. Join the participant group
  6. Click on the 'RSVP for a Session' tab
  7. Select which session you wish to attend
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the activity and RSVP ‘YES’ to the session.

Don't have a smart phone?

You can sign up to Team App on the Team App website and access all of the activities online. Follow the instructions above to register for a program.

Technology not your strong point? You can also turn up to your activity and fill out the manual registration form on the day. Your instructor will then input this information into Team App manually.
