NAIDOC Week

Sunday 7 July – Sunday 14 July 2024

NAIDOC Week is held in July of each year to celebrate and learn about First Nations history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is an opportunity for the community to participate in activities celebrating the oldest continuous living cultures on earth.

The 2024 National NAIDOC Week theme is Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud celebrating resilience, unity and pride and shining a light on the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations Culture.

Redlands Coast holds a range of events and activities during NAIDOC Week each year, celebrating First Nations heritage and its rich array of languages, arts, dance, and music.
