A Child's Life on the Station
A Child's Life on the Station: Capturing the special bond between family, animals and the land. Viewed to a soundtrack of children laughing and playing. A Child's Life on the Station is a series of lives of children on Australia's Outback stations. The images capture the joy of simple pleasures as well as the hardships that come with station life. All the photographs have been taken by parents and friends of children living on the land and were originally part of a regional competition managed by Mitchell Arts Council, with assistance from Roma Regional Council Regional Arts Development Fund and Epic Energy.

Sing with Redland Rhapsody Chorus for Christmas
Redland Rhapsody Chorus invites women to join them for six weeks to form the "2009 Women's Christmas A Cappella Chorus" and sing at Redland City Council's "Christmas By Starlight" concert on 12th December at Cleveland Showground.
Orientation afternoon, Saturday 7th November at Alexandra Hills from 1pm to 4pm followed by five weekly Tuesday evening rehearsals from 6.30pm to 8pm at our rehearsal venue in Alexandra Hills.
Fee $55 for rehearsals, vocal coaching and performance. You'll receive a learning CD, sheet music and words for three carols sung in four part harmony. We hope you have so much fun you'll continue on to full membership of Redland Rhapsody Chorus in 2010.

Redland City Remembrance Day Commemoration
A Commemorative Wreath Laying Service will be conducted in honour of all who have served and to remember those who did not return. Service at the Cleveland Cenotaph, ANZAC Memorial Park, Cleveland, cnr Passage and North Sts, Cleveland, usually gets underway at 10.40am with two minutes silence at 11am followed by the Last Post. Tartan Spectacular
Enjoy a celebration of Scottish culture and dance presented by Highland Dancing studios based in South East Queensland. This combined teachers concert demonstrates traditional highland dances as well as a variety of choreographed performances and styles.
Other entertainment includes friends of SouthEast Queensland performing in a Pipe Band bringing that extra touch of Scottish flair to the shows. All funds raised at the concert will be donated to the Champion of Champions Championship of Australia held in April 2010 and is one of Australia’s most prestigious highland dancing events, attracting highland dancers from all parts of the world.

Sale of Original Art
RDCOTA is providing volunteer organisation to assist in this art sale.The works have been collected over 40 years by Cleveland CPA, Cor Frederiks, so it will certainly be a unique experience. A percentage of the proceeds will be paid into a fund for a Seniors Community Bus for use by seniors' organisations in Redland City.

Tighe Cams Hillclimb Series Round 6
This is a motorsport event held at the MG Car Club of Qld's Mt Cotton circuit, Gramzow Rd, Mt Cotton. Six rounds of the series are held at Mt Cotton throughout the year.
Even better than that; it is all free for spectators. Donation boxes are available for those who would like to contribute to the upkeep of the facility. Action starts at 8.30am and finishes at about 4pm.
