Where does our water come from?

In the Redlands, we get our water from two sources:

• Leslie Harrison Dam on Tingalpa Creek
• North Stradbroke Island. 

Redland Water & Waste pumps untreated water from these two sources to treatment plants on North Stradbroke Island and at Capalaba to purify it.

It is then pumped through more than 1,000 kilometres of water pipes to households and businesses all around the Redlands.
