Redland Water & Waste is responsible for collecting, treating and disposing of wastewater (sewerage) produced in the Redlands.

Did you know that Redland households produce a daily average of 200-300 litres of wastewater per person?

Wastewater is treated at one of seven plants located at:
• Capalaba
• Cleveland
• Thorneside
• Victoria Point
• Mount Cotton
• Dunwich
• Point Lookout

Building over sewers
To make a formal inquiry you should submit a Building Over Sewers application to Redlands Water & Waste.

Redland City Council is expanding it recycling water filling service to commercial water carriers.
Greywater use
Greywater is wastewater coming for the bath, shower, bathroom sink and laundry. We now accept application for greywater use facilitiesfor garden irrigation.
