Library Quest

The students try to solve the mystery of the missing piece(s) of evidence/information needed for their research/assignment. The students solve clues to uncover the location of where that piece of information can be found and learn how to navigate the Red-e-cat catalogue.

School library quests can be booked through Young Citizen's program on 3829 8466.

Activities and programs

Activities are held during school holidays and during special celebrations such as Children’s Book Week.

Details are available about two weeks before.  Find out more about these activities. All activities are very popular, so book early.

Teenagers

At each library there is a young adult collection of fiction, graphic novels and magazines. At Cleveland and Victoria Point libraries there are listening posts for library members to use.

Search the Red-e-cat Library Catalogue online from home or in the library to place holds, renew items and look for the latest titles.

We also have quiet study areas for research in the library with free Internet access to a range of databases online. You can access Microsoft Word/Access and Excel free of charge. Photocopy and printing facilities are available (small charge applies).
