Local history

The Local History Room is in the Cleveland Library. This room contains information about the district’s past and present, including books, photos, maps, newspapers, oral histories and folders containing information about issues and events in the Redlands.

The Local History Room is open during normal library opening hours.

• Monday 9am-5pm
• Tuesday 9am-5pm
• Wednesday 9am-7.30pm
• Thursday 9am-7.30pm
• Friday 9am-5pm
• Saturday 9am-4pm

The room is staffed Monday to Friday from 9am-4.30pm.

The Local History Room also contains the collection of the Redlands Genealogical Society. Members of the Society are in the Local History Room to help with family research on:

• Saturdays: 12.30-3.30pm
