Cleveland Aquatic Centre
The Cleveland Aquatic Centre is located at 222 Russell Street, Cleveland. The land is owned by the State of Queensland under trust to Council in accordance with the Land Act 1994 and has the following facilities:
- Main building – change rooms, toilets, kiosk, gym (no equipment), entry foyer, office and storage rooms
- Three plant rooms
- heated outdoor 50m pool – up to 2m deep, eight lanes, fixed blocks at both ends and adjacent covered grandstand
- heated 25m outdoor pool – 1.2m deep, four lanes and disabled access ramp
- heated indoor 20m pool up to 1.2m deep with ledge for Learn To Swim classes.
- heated outdoor (shaded) Adventure playground pool – free form with beach entry and with two small slides and water play equipment
- heated outdoor (shaded) toddlers pool, free form with beach entry
- unheated outdoor Rapid River Ride
- heated outdoor spa (eight persons)
Operating Times
The centre is open to the public all year round. However, sections of the centre may be closed for operational requirements, which will be approved by Council.
Please note: The Leisure Water Area is open from 9am daily, closing times may vary.
Opening hours - Summer
Effective 1 October
Monday to Friday: 5am to 8pm
Saturday: 6am to 6pm
Sunday: 9am to 4pm
Opening hours - Winter
Effective 10 April
Monday to Thursday: 5am - 7.30pm
Friday: 5am - 7pm
Sat 6pm - 4pm
Sun: 9am - 4pm

Admission fees
The following are the 07/08 fees (including GST)
- Casual (adult and children): $4.00*
- Family Pass – one adult and two children: $10.50**
- Each additional adult or child $3.50
- 10 Visit Pass $35.00
- 20 Visit Pass $60.00
- Concession: $3.20***
Note:
*Children 10 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times
**Pass tickets are valid for three months from date of purchase
***Concession means the holder of a Pensioner Concession Card issued by Centrelink.
Pool hire
50m pool
- Schools (per hour) $130.00 (minimum of 4 hour hire)
- Others (per hour) $150.00 (minimum of 4 hour hire)
- Lane hire $28.00 per hr per lane
25m pool
- $100.00 per hr (minimum of 2 hour hire)
- Lane hire $25 per hr per lane
20m pool
- Lane hire $30 per hr per lane
The Leisure Water area may only be booked outside of the normal opening hours of that facility.
