Redland communities

The communities in the Redlands are all unique, from the rural farms and bushland in Mt Cotton to the bustling retail businesses in Capalaba. Our islands are just a ferry ride away but you will feel like you're in another world when you are there.

Check out our communities and discover why it's all here in the Redlands!

We have Alexandra Hills, Birkdale, Capalaba, Cleveland, Mt Cotton, Ormiston, Redland Bay, Sheldon, Thorneside, Thornlands, Victoria Point and Wellington Point on the mainland.
  • North Stradbroke Island
Affectionately known as 'Straddie', there are three main communities on the island - Dunwich, Amity Point and Point Lookout.
  • Coochiemudlo Island
Just 10 minutes by ferry or barge from Victoria Point, 'Coochie' is a popular destination for day visitors. It has a small but thriving island community.
