Tingalpa Creek Waterway Management Plan
Brisbane City Council, Logan City Council and Redland City Council jointly administer the Tingalpa Creek catchment. The three Councils have worked together to develop the WMP which aims to manage waterways within the catchment in a cost effective way that:
- Minimises the impact of flooding
- Encourages ecologically sustainable waterways
- Protects recognised values associated with waterways
The strategies and actions developed draw on the findings of technical studies and stakeholder consultation. Its key outcomes were to define a catchment vision and to set environmental values.
The information contained in this plan is correct as of January 2003.
