Seniors
Our goal for all our seniors is to age well.
Like everywhere else, our population is ageing. By 2016, a third of Redland’s population will be aged 55 years and over.
Redland City Council values our seniors and is working towards building a community with supportive facilities, services and attitudes. We want seniors to be active in their local neighbourhoods and encourage them to participate at a level of their choosing.
Our vision is age-friendly communities strengthened by the contribution of seniors. To find out how we are going to achieve this vision, take a look at Ageing Well in the Redlands - a ten-year strategy
