Redland City is growing rapidly and Council is committed to planning and providing vital infrastructure for the community. The major works listed here are underway or proposed to start in the Redlands soon.

Judy Holt Sportsfields Stage 3 remediation works
Redland Bay
Collins Street/ Serpentine Creek/ Donald Road Upgrade
Major intersection upgrade at Torquay Rd, Donald Rd and Serpentine Creek Rd, and major road upgrade to Collins St, Redland Bay. The intersection upgrade will include the installation of a roundabout, upgrading of the street lighting, installation of footpaths and associated drainage works.
The Collins St works will include upgrading the existing road to four lanes, improvements to the street lighting, installation of footpaths and associated drainage works. Both projects are being constructed together so as to maximise efficiencies. Please note these projects are being constructed over two financial years.
Russell Island
Jock Kennedy Park
Improvements to Jock Kennedy Park facilities, which will include the installation of public amenities, car parks, shelters, seating, picnic tables and BBQs, as well as landscaping of the surrounding grassed area.
