Development

Many developments need land use planning or 'development' approval. The introduction of the
Sustainable Planning Act 2009 (SPA) with its Integrated Development Assessment System (IDAS) provides the assessment framework. Council is responsible for the statutory function of development assessment, including administering the
Redlands Planning Scheme (RPS) and the SPA.
