Building over sewers

Generally, swimming pools and commercial buildings (not associated with a Material Change of Use) require a Building Over Sewer application to be lodged if constructed within 1.5 metres of a sewer main. Excludes construction within 1.5m of connection point or maintenance hole - refer to Development Assessment team.
All other structures, for example, dwellings, retaining walls, domestic sheds, garages, carports and additions may require assessment under the Redlands Planning Scheme addressing the Development Near Underground Infrastructure Code.
