Pensioner concessions
Approved pensioners are eligible for a Queensland Government subsidy and a Council rebate.
Pensioner rates concessions are not transferable within the Redland City Council local government area or from another local government area. A new application to the Redland City Council is necessary if you change properties. For more information refer to the

State Government Subsidy
Council's rebate
Eligible pensioners can apply for a Rates concession or discount for dog registration. To be eligible, applicants must:
- have a Pensioner Concession Card, an Entitlement Card or a Gold Card
- be the registered owner and resident of the property for which the rebate is claimed.
Part pensioners are also eligible for Council’s rebate. To find out more, ph 3829 8446.
Seniors receiving a full pension benefit are eligible for a 50 per cent discount on their dog registration. For more info, ph 3829 8665.
