Providing transport and waterways infrastrucure are essential services, and therefore a strategic priority of Council.
Key objectives of the Corporate Plan 2006-2010 are to:
- Support the provision of efficient movement of both people and goods
- Support, advocate, provide and maintain marine facilities that allow access to transportation.
