Christmas by Starlight

The Christmas by Starlight concert is a tradition in the Redlands and definitely a favourite with the local community. For over 14 years the Redland City Council has hosted this successful event attracting thousands every year to join in the fun, music and festive season spirit.

The concert was originally held in Cleveland’s Raby Bay Harbour Park. The event’s popularity continued to grow until it became too big for the venue. In 2006, Christmas by Starlight was moved to Capalaba Regional Park where it continued to thrive as a popular community event.

The event once again changes location in 2009 to support an exciting new format.

Christmas by Starlight on 12 Dec at Redlands Showgrounds

This year’s Christmas by Starlight will be held at the Redland Showgrounds - Norm Price Park, in Cleveland, on 12 December. The recent upgrades to this venue, carried out as part of Q150 celebrations, make it a great location for this favourite family event.

With Ricki-Lee as our headline act, Sofie Formica as MC and lots of other great entertainment already booked, our 2009 Christmas celebration is set to be great fun. Local talent will also be on show throughout the afternoon making this year’s event bigger, better and brighter than ever before!

Christmas by Starlight will have something for everyone -  making it a great afternoon and evening for the whole family.
