Draft Redland Housing Strategy
The South East Queensland Regional Plan requires Redland City to accommodate an additional 50,000 people between 2006 and 2031. To accommodate these people, approximately 21,000 extra dwellings will need to be provided.
The Draft Redlands Housing strategy provides recommendations and options for how Council could meet the challenges of this growth.
The draft strategy is one of a number of studies undertaken to inform the upcoming review of the Redlands Planning scheme. It will be considered along with a wide range of inputs for the scheme.
