Hendra virus
There are no current cases of Hendra virus infection in the Redlands. However, an outbreak has been reported in neighbouring areas. For more information on the Hendra virus, please refer to the links below:
- Infections - people who think they may have been in contact with an infected horse should contact their local public health unit or call 13HEALTH (13 43 25 84). If you suspect your animal may have Hendra virus, contact Biosecurity Queensland on ph 13 25 23 or Emergency Disease Watch Hotline on ph 1800 675 888.
