Bringing Redland Water home

Redland City Council is working toward a smooth and seamless transition of all water and wastewater distribution and retail services within the City in preparation for Redland Water’s re-establishment as the City’s local provider on 1 July 2012.
Allconnex Water will continue to service the community as usual until 1 July, when it ceases its operations.
Council will work to keep the price of water as low as possible once the water and wastewater price cap imposed by the State Government ends on 30 June 2013.
Council’s strategy to ease the burden of unnecessary price increases is detailed in its Water and Wastewater Mitigation Plan for all residential and small business customers, due for adoption by July 2013. The plan is available for inspection at Council Customer Service Centres at Cleveland and Capalaba.
