Introducing Councillor Murray Elliott
As a Councillor, I have always had a strong sense of responsibility to deliver a professional service, keep you informed on a regular basis through newsletters and also believe in a strong work ethic. In addition, I hold regular meetings in the Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre every second Saturday morning to allow you to meet face-to-face with your Council representative.
My main interest is for a sustainable future for Redlands with a focus on the natural environment, public transport, road and traffic issues.
As an active member of the community, I also attend the meetings of many local groups including the Alexandra Hills Sporting Club, the Alexandra Hills State High School P&C, The Vienna Woods State School P&C, Hilliards State School P&C and Coolwynpin State School.
Born in Brisbane I grew up in the bayside suburb of Wynnum North. I live with my family in Alexandra Hills where we have been residents for the past 20 years.
