Introducing Councillor Toni Bowler

Cr Toni Bowler has been a Councillor since 1994. Before joining Council, Cr Bowler worked with her husband, Paul, in their electrical contracting business. They have three children: Drew, Nathan and Taryn.

Cr Bowler was an administrator for a number of years for Life Education and has worked in Marketing. She has completed a three-year part-time course in Studio Ceramics at South Brisbane TAFE.

Cr Bowler firmly believes that people choose to live in the Redlands for its unique environment, recreational activities and varied employment opportunities.

She believes that tourism is on the edge of discovery, with the Redland's assets being the bush, the Bay and its islands.

She is very passionate about such issues as:

Cr Bowler's interests are watching her children play sport, travelling and going to the beach.

She has been a member of the Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) since 1990 and is currently Council's representative on PCYC.

Cr Bowler has represented Council on the Joint Tourism Committee, Redlands Tourism Board. She participates in residents' meetings at Mount Cotton, Sheldon and Ferntree Park.
