The Corporate Plan translates community needs and expectations into actions. The Corporate Plan 2006-2010 continues and improves upon the direction set by the previous 2002-2006 plan.
It was used to guide the development of the Operational Plan and Budget.
The plan sets out the priorities and direction for Council for four years. It identifies our vision, values and mission. It ensures the organisation is focused on achieving clear, measurable objectives based on community and Council needs.
Our vision is to enhance community spirit, lifestyle and the natural environment.
Our strategic priorities for the community continue to be natural environment, land use, essential services, community health and wellbeing, economic prosperity, governance and corporate services.
