Issue Papers

A series of Issue Papers were developed by Council to inform the development of the Corporate Plan 2006 - 2010  [PDF 858KB].

These papers provide an understanding of local and regional issues impacting on our organisation.

They present the widest possible view of key issues and address the quality of our service delivery in addressing them.

They are not position papers. Although they were formed as part of the deliberative process, they are not an end result.

There are 13 issue papers - nine externally focussed and four focussed on the internal organisation of Council. Of the external papers, the first eight cover issues that legislation requires to be addressed as part of the corporate planning process.
