Vacation Care Services Programs
About Us
Redland City Council provides nine Vacation Care services programs which are located on school premises. All school age children are welcome to participate.
Our services aim to enhance the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of the child by providing opportunities for decision making.
We have a deep commitment to maintaining family bonds and structure and provide elements of the home in our care, such as education.
Staff
A Director oversees the operation of all services and can be contacted on 3383 7090. Each service has a Coordinator and at least one assistant, depending on the number of children.
To support professional and personal development staff regularly attend in-service training sessions, seminars, conferences and courses. The service also receives requests from students and volunteers for opportunities to work in the school age care service. Placement of these people is at the discretion of the Director.
