Ageing well in the Redlands
The goal for all our seniors is to age well. By 2016, a third of Redland’s population will be aged 55 years and over.
Redland City Council values seniors and is working towards building a community with supportive facilities, services and attitudes. We want seniors to be active in their local neighbourhoods and encourage them to participate at a level of their choosing.
Our vision is age-friendly communities strengthened by the contribution of seniors.

The Redlands Advisory Group on Seniors Issues (RAGOSI) was established by Council in March 2005. RAGOSI members meet every two months and is chaired by Mayor Melva Hobson.
