Home Assist

Redland Home Assist Secure Service is Council-sponsored and provides home maintenance and security advice for senior citizens.

The program is jointly funded by Queensland Department of Housing and Department of Health to help people over the age of 60 and people with disabilities to repair and maintain their home and security levels.

The program is open to Redland home owners, private renters and Department of Housing renters.

Eligible recipients will receive free information and referrals on home security, home safety, minor modifications and repairs by Home Assist Secure registered qualified trades people.

The Home Assist Secure program is now based at Unit 2/11, Oaklands Street, Alexandra Hills, ph 3383 7075. Staff are available 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
