Every year, the Redland City Council awards grants to individuals and community groups. Grants and Sponsorship are offered across the arts, cultural heritage, environment, community development, enterprise development and sport and recreation.
Did you know that in 2010 and 2011, Council proudly contributed almost $700,000 to over 50 community groups to help improve our community?

Community Grants for Round 2 opens today!
Round 2 is now open so be quick and submit your application by 2 March 2012. You can apply for grants under the categories Organisation Support, Project Support, Conservation Grants and the Regional Arts Development Fund. Call the Grants Team on 3829 8911 today!!!!!
If you have any projects in mind contact the Grants Team on ph 3829 8911 now for advice on categories. You can also meet with a Council Officer who can provide advice on developing your application and who can also assist you by providing feedback on your draft application before you submit it. Grants Workshops Round 2 - 2011/12 - Book Now!!!!!
The following free grant application writing workshops will provide tips on how to write an application under the Community Grants Program and the Regional Arts Development Fund which will also provide you with knowledge on how to write applications for other funding programs.
To assist with writing an application for the Community Grants Program and the Regional Arts Development Fund, these workshops will go through an application and will provide tips on how to answer each question.

Grants newsletter
A monthly newsletter is produced to raise awareness of the Community Grants and Sponsorship Program within the Redland City Council. We aim to keep you updated on:
- The opening of rounds under the Community Grants Program
- Changes to the Guidelines for the Grants and Sponsorship Program
- Other funding opportunities that become available
- Other useful information
Types of funding available
Funding is available in the following categories:
- Community Grants
Support for community organisations in categories such as Organisation Support, Project Support, Conservation Grants and Capital Infrastructure.
- Mayor’s Small Grants
Offering assistance to groups requiring a small amount of funding for things like unexpected costs. To support individuals for achieving high-level excellence.
- Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)
Support for emerging artists to further develop skills and profile in the Redlands. Funding is in partnership with Arts Queensland.
- Sponsorship
Financial contribution or value in-kind to support an event, project, service or activity, providing tangible and measurable commercial benefits to Council and the community.
