Regional Arts Development Fund

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) Program, established in 1991, is a highly successful state and local government partnership that supports professional artists and arts practitioners living in regional Queensland. The program focuses on the development of quality art and arts practice for, and with, regional communities.
RADF categories
There are eight categories of funding available, including:
- Developing Regional Skills
- Building Community Cultural Capacity
- Interest-Free Arts Loans
- Cultural Tourism
- Contemporary Collections/Stories
- Regional Partnerships
- Concept Development
- Arts Policy Development Implementation

Round 2 Successful Recipients Approved under the Regional Arts Development Fund
Redlands artists receive 'dramatic' boost of funds.
Council approved funding of $61,613 for 11 applications under Round 2 of the Regional Arts Development Fund.

Next Funding Round - RADF Round 1 2012/13
The next round for funding for RADF will open on 23 July 2012 and close on 31 August 2012.
If you have any projects in mind contact the Community Cultural Development Officer on 3829 8910 to determine the best category for you. You can also seek advice on developing your project as well as receiving feedback on your draft application before you submit it.
Free Grant Application Writing Workshops
Free Grant Application Writing Workshops will be held on 24 July 2012 and 2 August 2012. Eligible individuals and organisations who wish to apply for funding in Round 1 2012/13 are encouraged to attend the workshops. These workshops provide tips to applicants on how to write an application.

RADF does not support activities that commence before council approval is given. You can expect to be notified by council of the outcome of your application approximately eight weeks after the closing date of the round.
